وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ فَاخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ وَلَوْلَا كَلِمَةٌ سَبَقَتْ مِنْ رَبِّكَ لَقُضِيَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَإِنَّهُمْ لَفِي شَكٍّ مِنْهُ مُرِيبٍ

Hilali & KhanIndeed, We gave the Book to Musa, but differences arose therein, and had it not been for a Word that had gone forth before from your Lord, the case would have been judged between them, and indeed they are in grave doubt concerning it (this Qur'an).

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)یقیناً ہم نے موسیٰ (علیہ السلام) کو کتاب دی۔ پھر اس میں اختلاف کیا گیا، اگر پہلے ہی آپ کے رب کی بات صادر نہ ہوگئی ہوتی تو یقیناً ان کا فیصلہ کر دیا جاتا، انہیں تو اس میں سخت شبہ ہے
