قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِنْ كُنْتُ عَلَىٰ بَيِّنَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّي وَآتَانِي رَحْمَةً مِنْ عِنْدِهِ فَعُمِّيَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنُلْزِمُكُمُوهَا وَأَنْتُمْ لَهَا كَارِهُونَ
Qala ya qawmi araaytum in kuntu AAala bayyinatin min rabbee waatanee rahmatan min AAindihi faAAummiyat AAalaykum anulzimukumooha waantum laha karihoona

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)نوح نے کہا، میری قوم والو! مجھے بتاؤ تو اگر میں اپنے رب کی طرف سے کسی دلیل پر ہوا اور مجھے اس نے اپنے پاس کی کوئی رحمت عطا کی ہو، پھر وه تمہاری نگاہوں میں نہ آئی تو کیا زبردستی میں اسے تمہارے گلے منڈھ دوں، حاﻻنکہ تم اس سے بیزار ہو
