قَالُوا يَا شُعَيْبُ مَا نَفْقَهُ كَثِيرًا مِمَّا تَقُولُ وَإِنَّا لَنَرَاكَ فِينَا ضَعِيفًا وَلَوْلَا رَهْطُكَ لَرَجَمْنَاكَ وَمَا أَنْتَ عَلَيْنَا بِعَزِيزٍ
Qaloo ya shuAAaybu ma nafqahu katheeran mimma taqoolu wainna lanaraka feena daAAeefan walawla rahtuka larajamnaka wama anta AAalayna biAAazeezin

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)انہوں نے کہا اے شعیب! تیری اکثر باتیں تو ہماری سمجھ میں ہی نہیں آتیں اور ہم تو تجھے اپنے اندر بہت کمزور پاتے ہیں، اگر تیرے قبیلے کا خیال نہ ہوتا تو ہم تو تجھے سنگسار کر دیتے، اور ہم تجھے کوئی حیثیت والی ہستی نہیں گنتے
