قَدْ مَكَرَ الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ فَأَتَى اللَّهُ بُنْيَانَهُمْ مِنَ الْقَوَاعِدِ فَخَرَّ عَلَيْهِمُ السَّقْفُ مِنْ فَوْقِهِمْ وَأَتَاهُمُ الْعَذَابُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ
Qad makara allatheena min qablihim faata Allahu bunyanahum mina alqawaAAidi fakharra AAalayhimu alssaqfu min fawqihim waatahumu alAAathabu min haythu la yashAAuroona

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)ان سے پہلے کے لوگوں نے بھی مکر کیا تھا، (آخر) اللہ نے (ان کے منصوبوں) کی عمارتوں کو جڑوں سے اکھیڑ دیا اور ان (کے سروں) پر (ان کی) چھتیں اوپر سے گر پڑیں، اور ان کے پاس عذاب وہاں سے آگیا جہاں کا انہیں وہم وگمان بھی نہ تھا
