قَالُوا يَا ذَا الْقَرْنَيْنِ إِنَّ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ مُفْسِدُونَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَهَلْ نَجْعَلُ لَكَ خَرْجًا عَلَىٰ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ سَدًّا
Qaloo ya tha alqarnayni inna yajooja wamajooja mufsidoona fee alardi fahal najAAalu laka kharjan AAala an tajAAala baynana wabaynahum saddan

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)انہوں نے کہا اے ذوالقرنین! یاجوج ماجوج اس ملک میں (بڑے بھاری) فسادی ہیں، تو کیا ہم آپ کے لئے کچھ خرچ کا انتظام کر دیں؟ (اس شرط پر کہ) آپ ہمارے اور ان کے درمیان ایک دیوار بنادیں
