البقرة · The Cow · verse 273 of 286
لِلْفُقَرَاءِ الَّذِينَ أُحْصِرُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ ضَرْبًا فِي الْأَرْضِ يَحْسَبُهُمُ الْجَاهِلُ أَغْنِيَاءَ مِنَ التَّعَفُّفِ تَعْرِفُهُمْ بِسِيمَاهُمْ لَا يَسْأَلُونَ النَّاسَ إِلْحَافًا وَمَا تُنْفِقُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ بِهِ عَلِيمٌ
Lilfuqarai allatheena ohsiroo fee sabeeli Allahi la yastateeAAoona darban fee alardi yahsabuhumu aljahilu aghniyaa mina alttaAAaffufi taAArifuhum biseemahum la yasaloona alnnasa ilhafan wama tunfiqoo min khayrin fainna Allaha bihi AAaleemun

Hilali & Khan(Charity is) for Fuqara' (the poor), who in Allah's cause are restricted (from travel), and cannot move about in the land (for trade or work). The one who knows them not, thinks that they are rich because of their modesty. You may know them by their mark, they do not beg of people at all. And whatever you spend in good, surely Allah knows it well.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)صدقات کے مستحق صرف وه غربا ہیں جو اللہ کی راه میں روک دیئے گئے، جو ملک میں چل پھر نہیں سکتے نادان لوگ ان کی بے سوالی کی وجہ سے انہیں مالدار خیال کرتے ہیں، آپ ان کے چہرے دیکھ کر قیافہ سے انہیں پہچان لیں گے وه لوگوں سے چمٹ کر سوال نہیں کرتے، تم جو کچھ مال خرچ کرو تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا جاننے واﻻ ہے
