وَلَٰكِنَّا أَنْشَأْنَا قُرُونًا فَتَطَاوَلَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعُمُرُ وَمَا كُنْتَ ثَاوِيًا فِي أَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ تَتْلُو عَلَيْهِمْ آيَاتِنَا وَلَٰكِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِينَ
Walakinna anshana quroonan fatatawala AAalayhimu alAAumuru wama kunta thawiyan fee ahli madyana tatloo AAalayhim ayatina walakinna kunna mursileena

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)لیکن ہم نے بہت سی نسلیں پیدا کیں جن پر لمبی مدتیں گزر گئیں، اور نہ تو مدین کے رہنے والوں میں سے تھا کہ ان کے سامنے ہماری آیتوں کی تلاوت کرتا بلکہ ہم ہی رسولوں کے بھیجنے والے رہے
