وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَاشْتَرَوْا بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا فَبِئْسَ مَا يَشْتَرُونَ
Waith akhatha Allahu meethaqa allatheena ootoo alkitaba latubayyinunnahu lilnnasi wala taktumoonahu fanabathoohu waraa thuhoorihim waishtaraw bihi thamanan qaleelan fabisa ma yashtaroona

Hilali & Khan(And remember) when Allah took a covenant from those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) to make it (the truth) known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it, but they threw it away behind their backs, and purchased with it some miserable gain! And indeed worst is that which they bought.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اور اللہ تعالیٰ نے جب اہل کتاب سے عہد لیا کہ تم اسے سب لوگوں سے ضرور بیان کرو گے اور اسے چھپاؤ گے نہیں، تو پھر بھی ان لوگوں نے اس عہد کو اپنی پیٹھ پیچھے ڈال دیا اور اسے بہت کم قیمت پر بیچ ڈاﻻ۔ ان کا یہ بیوپار بہت برا ہے
