Surah Fatir, Ayah 37

وَهُمْ يَصْطَرِخُونَ فِيهَا رَبَّنَا أَخْرِجْنَا نَعْمَلْ صَالِحًا غَيْرَ الَّذِي كُنَّا نَعْمَلُ أَوَلَمْ نُعَمِّرْكُمْ مَا يَتَذَكَّرُ فِيهِ مَنْ تَذَكَّرَ وَجَاءَكُمُ النَّذِيرُ فَذُوقُوا فَمَا لِلظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ نَصِيرٍ
Wahum yastarikhoona feeha rabbana akhrijna naAAmal salihan ghayra allathee kunna naAAmalu awalam nuAAammirkum ma yatathakkaru feehi man tathakkara wajaakumu alnnatheeru fathooqoo fama lilththalimeena min naseerin

Hilali & KhanTherein they will cry: "Our Lord! Bring us out, we shall do righteous good deeds, not that we used to do." (Allah will reply:) "Did We not give you lives long enough, so that whosoever would receive admonition could receive it And the warner came to you. So taste you. For the wrongdoers there is no helper."

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اور وه لوگ اس میں چلائیں گے کہ اے ہمارے پروردگار! ہم کو نکال لے ہم اچھے کام کریں گے برخلاف ان کاموں کے جو کیا کرتے تھے، (اللہ کہے گا) کیا ہم نے تم کو اتنی عمر نہ دی تھی کہ جس کو سمجھنا ہوتا وه سمجھ سکتا اور تمہارے پاس ڈرانے واﻻ بھی پہنچا تھا، سو مزه چکھو کہ (ایسے) ﻇالموں کا کوئی مددگار نہیں
