يَسْتَفْتُونَكَ قُلِ اللَّهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِي الْكَلَالَةِ إِنِ امْرُؤٌ هَلَكَ لَيْسَ لَهُ وَلَدٌ وَلَهُ أُخْتٌ فَلَهَا نِصْفُ مَا تَرَكَ وَهُوَ يَرِثُهَا إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهَا وَلَدٌ فَإِنْ كَانَتَا اثْنَتَيْنِ فَلَهُمَا الثُّلُثَانِ مِمَّا تَرَكَ وَإِنْ كَانُوا إِخْوَةً رِجَالًا وَنِسَاءً فَلِلذَّكَرِ مِثْلُ حَظِّ الْأُنْثَيَيْنِ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ أَنْ تَضِلُّوا وَاللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
Yastaftoonaka quli Allahu yufteekum fee alkalalati ini imruon halaka laysa lahu waladun walahu okhtun falaha nisfu ma taraka wahuwa yarithuha in lam yakun laha waladun fain kanata ithnatayni falahuma alththuluthani mimma taraka wain kanoo ikhwatan rijalan wanisaan falilththakari mithlu haththi alonthayayni yubayyinu Allahu lakum an tadilloo waAllahu bikulli shayin AAaleemun

Hilali & KhanThey ask you for a legal verdict. Say: "Allah directs (thus) about Al-Kalalah. If it is a man that dies leaving a sister, but no child, she shall have half the inheritance, and [in her case] he will be her heir if she has no children. If there are two sisters, they shall have two-thirds of the inheritance; if there are brothers and sisters, the male will have twice the share of the female. (Thus) does Allah make clear to you (His Law) lest you go astray. And Allah is the All-Knower of everything."
Urdu translation
Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)آپ سے فتویٰ پوچھتے ہیں، آپ کہہ دیجیئے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ (خود) تمہیں کلالہ کے بارے میں فتویٰ دیتا ہے۔ اگر کوئی شخص مر جائے جس کی اوﻻد نہ ہو اور ایک بہن ہو تو اس کے لئے چھوڑے ہوئے مال کا آدھا حصہ ہے اور وه بھائی اس بہن کا وارث ہوگا اگر اس کے اوﻻد نہ ہو۔ پس اگر بہنیں دو ہوں تو انہیں کل چھوڑے ہوئے کا دو تہائی ملے گا۔ اور اگر کئی شخص اس ناطے کے ہیں مرد بھی اور عورتیں بھی تو مرد کے لئے حصہ ہے مثل دو عورتوں کے، اللہ تعالیٰ تمہارے لئے بیان فرما رہا ہے کہ ایسا نہ ہو کہ تم بہک جاؤ اور اللہ تعالیٰ ہر چیز سے واقف ہے
