إِذْ جَاءَتْهُمُ الرُّسُلُ مِنْ بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ قَالُوا لَوْ شَاءَ رَبُّنَا لَأَنْزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً فَإِنَّا بِمَا أُرْسِلْتُمْ بِهِ كَافِرُونَ
Ith jaathumu alrrusulu min bayni aydeehim wamin khalfihim alla taAAbudoo illa Allaha qaloo law shaa rabbuna laanzala malaikatan fainna bima orsiltum bihi kafiroona

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)ان کے پاس جب ان کے آگے پیچھے سے پیغمبر آئے کہ تم اللہ کے سوا کسی کی عبادت نہ کرو تو انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ اگر ہمارا پروردگار چاہتا تو فرشتوں کو بھیجتا۔ ہم تو تمہاری رسالت کے بالکل منکر ہیں
