وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَعَالَوْا إِلَىٰ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ وَإِلَى الرَّسُولِ قَالُوا حَسْبُنَا مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءَنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَلَا يَهْتَدُونَ
Waitha qeela lahum taAAalaw ila ma anzala Allahu waila alrrasooli qaloo hasbuna ma wajadna AAalayhi abaana awalaw kana abaohum la yaAAlamoona shayan wala yahtadoona

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اور جب ان سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے جو احکام نازل فرمائے ہیں ان کی طرف اور رسول کی طرف رجوع کرو تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم کو وہی کافی ہے جس پر ہم نے اپنے بڑوں کو پایا، کیا اگر چہ ان کے بڑے نہ کچھ سمجھ رکھتے ہوں اور نہ ہدایت رکھتے ہوں
