Surah Al-An'am, Ayah 130
الأنعام · The Cattle · verse 130 of 165
يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ رُسُلٌ مِنْكُمْ يَقُصُّونَ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتِي وَيُنْذِرُونَكُمْ لِقَاءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا قَالُوا شَهِدْنَا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِنَا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ الْحَيَاةُ الدُّنْيَا وَشَهِدُوا عَلَىٰ أَنْفُسِهِمْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا كَافِرِينَ
Ya maAAshara aljinni waalinsi alam yatikum rusulun minkum yaqussoona AAalaykum ayatee wayunthiroonakum liqaa yawmikum hatha qaloo shahidna AAala anfusina wagharrathumu alhayatu alddunya washahidoo AAala anfusihim annahum kanoo kafireena

"Did not there come to you Messengers from amongst you, reciting unto you My verses and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours" They will say: "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. And they will bear witness against themselves that they were disbelievers.

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)اے جنات اور انسانوں کی جماعت! کیا تمہارے پاس تم میں سے ہی پیغمبر نہیں آئے تھے، جو تم سے میرے احکام بیان کرتے اور تم کو اس آج کے دن کی خبر دیتے؟ وه سب عرض کریں گے کہ ہم اپنے اوپر اقرار کرتے ہیں اور ان کو دنیاوی زندگی نے بھول میں ڈالے رکھا اور یہ لوگ اقرار کرنے والے ہوں گے کہ وه کافر تھے
