قَالُوا يَا مُوسَىٰ إِنَّا لَنْ نَدْخُلَهَا أَبَدًا مَا دَامُوا فِيهَا فَاذْهَبْ أَنْتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَاتِلَا إِنَّا هَاهُنَا قَاعِدُونَ
Qaloo ya moosa inna lan nadkhulaha abadan ma damoo feeha faithhab anta warabbuka faqatila inna hahuna qaAAidoona

Ahsan ul Bayan (Junagarhi)قوم نے جواب دیا کہ اے موسیٰ! جب تک وه وہاں ہیں تب تک ہم ہرگز وہاں نہ جائیں گے، اس لئے تم اور تمہارا پروردگار جا کر دونوں ہی لڑ بھڑ لو، ہم یہیں بیٹھے ہوئے ہیں
